Community Friendly Movement (CFM) was established in New Delhi, India in 2005 to provide financial support and assistance to artisan groups and communities to create employment opportunities.
CFM seeks to:
- increase incomes
- promote equity and fair compensation
- preserve traditional culture and skills- advance environmentally sustainable practices
- improve health and working conditions.
CFM provides loans and insurance as well as assistance and training in product design and development, production planning and management and marketing.
