SanYork has an artisan workshop in San Juan de Lurigancho, one of the poorest suburbs of Lima, which employs and houses dozens of local families of skilled talented artists. The workshop pays fair wages and provides a sustainable workplace environment which gives confidence, pride, inspiration to the artists contributing to their cultural preservation of tradition, lifestyle and dignity.
The SanYork work produces a range of handcrafted products including scarves, clothing, blankets, musical instruments and more.

For the last 20 years SanYork has provided fair wages and sustainable employment for skilled artisans in their workshop in Peru. Over 63 families enjoy full time well remunerated employment that allows them to provide for their children and themselves. Long term relationships have been established with families working in rural areas of the Andes allowing them to work from their villages and ensuring sustainable employment and a marketplace for their fine skilled crafts.
